Brenda Kelly of IQ Container Homes designing and build a small shipping container house for herself, which she grew up with overlooking New Zealand’s Lake Taupo. The design house was built using three 20 foot shipping containers.
On the inside, an open living area and kitchen positioned to take advantage of the views. While sliding doors open onto a deck that has a staircase leading to the courtyard.
The plywood accent wall mimics the wall in the living room and becomes the backdrop for the bed. On the opposite wall is a wardrobe with mirrored sliding doors, while the bed can be lifted up for more storage.
This tiny house also have a home office with a large table, which can turn into a bed when guests visit.
